Hi! My name is
Candace
McKenzie. I am the founder of Magical Celebrations. This company
started with my dream of turning just an ordinary party into something
magical for everyone.
I have performed
my whole life, and as a child growing up in the South I thrived in many theatre
companies. I was thrilled to be
chosen to study at the Governor School of Performing arts in Greenville,
S.C. and afterwards, I was able to earn my Equity card while working at
Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, V.A. It was there that I learned to
create fun and loveable characters for
children.
I then continued my
education at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC., and received
the acclaimed Amanda Loessin Acting Scholarship award while earning my
B.F.A. in theater arts.
Once in LA, I
continued expanding my craft in television and film. (See
Theatrical Resume) Naturally, I also began to work for many
well known children's entertainment companies and this gave me a great
foundation to finally start my own operation. With my staff of amazing
performers, I am ever so thankful to be given each and every opportunity
to make a child's birthday an enchanted event.
